  15. on the screen portrayed a gallery of roles from twits to tycoons
  16. to a future President; in Santa Monica, Calif. Bellamy was the
  17. perfect foil for Cary Grant in classic screwball comedies like
  18. The Awful Truth (1937). He created a gallant Franklin Roosevelt
  19. battling polio in Sunrise at Campobello (1960) and a grizzled
  20. corporate lion fending off a leveraged buyout in last year's
  21. Pretty Woman.
